The Spoon throttlebody is an OE Honda unit that has been taper bored to a 70mm inner diameter. Consequently, the flow-pass area is increased by 16% and the inertial mass during the intake of air is reduced. Engine and throttle response are improved, as is mid and upper rpm power. A 4-6hp improvement can be expected in the mid-rpm range. The Spoon throttlebody is a complete replacement unit and includes all necessary sensors. To achieve the best performance and response from the Spoon throttle body we highly recommend fitting Spoon air filters and maintaining the standard Honda airbox. The S2000 greatly benefits from fitting the Carbon air duct to get the best from the throttle body.. Throttle body can also be used on h22 2.2 vtec engines with minor modifications... please enquire...
